Energy Manager

The Energy Manager develops and manages implementation of energy efficient improvement projects and works with facility operations and maintenance staff to optimize the operating protocols of existing systems and equipment.


Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and presenting energy program performance reports, monthly energy cost reports, and annual energy budgets
  • Participating in energy procurement activities
  • Developing and maintaining effective user rapport
  • Providing guidance and training to enable others to grasp energy management fundamentals
  • Directly supervising energy department clerical and technical staff
  • Interfacing with utility suppliers, contractors and other agencies

Successful candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, with in-depth understanding of the operation and maintenance of heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems, including chillers, air handling units, boilers, digital and pneumatic control systems and indoor air quality. Other helpful experience includes understanding of energy efficient lighting technologies, building commissioning background, and experience diagnosing/troubleshooting complex mechanical systems and controls.

Capital Program Manager

The Capital Program Manager has responsibility for people management, service quality, multiple customer relationships, financial performance, and support/interface at college facilities. Successful candidates will work with clients to manage all aspects of programming, design and construction. Deliverables include programs, studies, budgets, project execution plans, RFPs, contracts, meeting minutes and project tracking.


In this role, your responsibilities would include:


  • Managing the day-to-day planning, design and construction of facilities
  • Directing accountability for multiple customer relationships
  • Scheduling technical resources and developing/maintaining budgets
  • Ensuring quality of service delivery
  • Managing resources efficiently
  • Training reports in proper project tracking and execution
  • Maintaining customer satisfaction, both internally and externally
  • Projecting and reporting financial results

Candidates with in-depth understanding and hands-on experience with owner’s representatives, construction management, or program management positions are encouraged to apply. ARAMARK Engineering Solutions highly prefers candidates with a B.S. in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management, and 5-10 years of related experience, and educational project experience.

Successful candidates will have an engineering degree, preferably in Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Construction, or Energy-related disciplines. Hands-on experience diagnosing HVAC/Controls systems is also very helpful.


Willingness to travel, demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to clearly present and explain complex information round out the description of a well-qualified candidate.
